My daughter's wedding reception was at Heavenly Weddings and Receptions. Kandi did not plan her own wedding, I wanted to tell you from the parents point of view what it was like working with Debbra Huggins.

Kandi (Embry) and her fiancee, Jon Sorcic, were both deployed so my husband and I did most of the planning and "legwork" to find a place for their reception. The wedding was held in our church, Portland Church of the Nazarene, in September 2008.

When we found Debbra, we were floundering a bit to find an appropriate place that would be Kandi and Jon, not her parents. We wanted the wedding and reception to be what they would want and a lot of e-mails went back and forth from Tennessee to the Middle East to make sure we planned things their way.

Debbra was wonderful to work with from the very beginning. She would make suggestions and never complained or acted frustrated if the bride and groom didn't want any particular suggestion. Kandi and Jon were so impressed with her when they arrived a week before the wedding. They had no complaints or disappointments because she was so particular to have everything the way they wanted.

We had about 100 guests, quite a few from out of town. There were so many compliments on the low level of stress and we attribute that to Debbra. There were no last minute things that were undone. Kandi told me recently that it was her dream wedding and reception and was so pleased that Debbra was the wedding planner.

Chef Christopher was our caterer and we couldn't have been more pleased with the food and personnel.

Heavenly Weddings and Receptions is the premiere placed for an outdoor wedding and/or reception. We highly recommend Debbra and her venue.
